DP No.20 < A Christmas in Shinjuku, some time ago >

A few years ago, when I visited Shinjuku after a long time, I remember seeing a girl standing on a bridge near the station around 11 PM, gazing up at the city. Despite the strong, cold wind, she kept looking up at the city. I wondered if it was her first time in Shinjuku too. There’s something particularly captivating about Shinjuku’s city lights. I sketched for about 20 minutes, but she was still there, looking up at the city lights and the night sky.  -Kurayashi Reo-
