DP No.27

When I went to Shinjuku with a friend, we looked out over the city from the rooftop of a certain building.
While my friend didn’t seem particularly interested in the view, standing behind her indifferent expression, I felt something different.
In the humid evening air, the scene of clustered multi-tenant buildings felt oddly nostalgic—yet also very present.
It was a strange mix of emotions, and I painted exactly that impression.
