DP No.35

Recently, I visited a restaurant on a relatively high floor. While waiting for the food to arrive, I looked down and noticed a slightly wide intersection below, where people had just begun to cross. As the flow of pedestrians repeated itself again and again, I became drawn to the contrast between the unmoving black-and-white pattern of the crosswalk and the people moving back and forth with a loose sense of direction. In that space where stillness and motion overlap, I felt an unspoken story, and that impression became the basis for this work.
