I often display tulips as a single flower in a vase. Compared to arranging them in a bouquet, a single tulip allows their soft, rounded charm to stand out more clearly, which is why I find this style especially appealing. Placing just one flower also seems to bring a quiet sense of calm to the surrounding space.
As I sit in a still room, observing the flower while painting, I become aware of how this single bloom gently softens the entire atmosphere. Each time I paint it, the vivid freshness of the stem and petals offers me new discoveries, reminding me of the quiet strength and presence held within a single flower.
