The artist drew this work while walking around Tokyo. The trees standing quietly in black and the bright sky in the back create a unique contrast in hue. The work is both a vivid two-dimensional work and a simple landscape painting, containing many tints in what appears to be a simple color surface, with an expressive quality that is unnoticeable from a distance, but gives the viewer a sense of something. The relatively small size of this work makes it suitable for point-of-view display.
